One of the most exciting discoveries I’ve made in the past year is that I can change my mind. It sounds really basic, I know. But this discovery was fundamental for me. It’s been a revelation. I can change my mind, how cool is that? How cool is it to have independence, autonomy, and the ability to change my mind? How cool is it to gain so many different perspectives that I can adapt my views and look at things differently? How cool is it that I no longer have to struggle with issues and situations I’ve struggled with because I can simply decide differently about them?
I didn’t realise that changing my mind was an option for me. I didn’t realise that it’s okay for me to adapt my perspectives as I learn and grow. I love that I can do this, it is so special. I love that others can do this too. We are so lucky that nothing is permanent. We can change our decisions, make mistakes, and re-learn. I love that I don’t have to be stuck. I love that I can keep evolving. I love that I have the freedom to change and keep changing. It is such an immense privilege. I’m so lucky to be human and have this incredible experience of life. I am just so lucky to be able to change my mind.
