Ever since I’ve been a child, I’ve understood the world around me through books, texts and discourses. Reading, writing and expressing were my ways of grasping the depth of situations around me, those were my ways of learning.
And still, to this day, I follow the same rules of thumb as I did when I was five years old. Though the categorization of relevant discourses from those that simply do not matter are rather hard to distinguish, I try my best to gain insight through them. Sometimes I have a conversation, with someone else, about an interesting topic or a debilitating issue. But other times, my conversations occur to within myself.
I can think myself crazy. Truly. My thoughts can be wild, depending on the topic. I can convince myself of my worst nightmare and I can flip the coin by thinking up my most beautiful dream. And that is possibly my biggest vice as well as strongest characteristic.
Thinking is my way of breeding new ideas, building my personality and using the tiny pieces I find in the world to connect the dots of the puzzle that is me.
While some thoughts remain too private to share, others I want the world to know. Though I expect few, if any, to read this blog, sharing my thoughts about various situations I have encountered in my short two decades will be a truly exhilarating experience for me.
I don’t know yet, what this blog will be. Will it be one of the many unfinished projects or will I share my thoughts, opinions and stories for myself and anybody else who might stumble upon it. Who knows?
Originally called, ‘My Random Scribblings’, but now renamed more appropriately, here’s a peephole to my mind.
I hope you like what you see (:
PS. This site is set up in a pretty simple format. This page, that is the ‘all posts’ page, has every post I’ve ever put out. But if you want to look at specific things I’ve written about, such as my thoughts, reflections and some poetry then go on ahead and skip to those categories in the menu bar above! Leave some comments whenever something I said makes you think too and maybe it’ll inspire some more of my thoughts.
